Curt Cheyney, the principal
lawyer in Wetzel Gagliardi Fetter & Lavin LLC’s Litigation
Group, has over five decades of extensive trial experience in State
and Federal Courts, especially in Chester, Bucks, Delaware,
Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties. Curt focuses on representing
insured and self-insured corporations, individuals, and insurance
companies in complex civil litigation involving construction, toxic
tort, environmental, product liability, and general liability claims,
as well as the defense of class actions and insurance coverage
disputes. He has also managed commercial arbitrations through the
American Arbitration Association.
He is admitted in Pennsylvania and New York State Courts, and Federal Courts of the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania. At the outset of each new engagement, the members of the Litigation Group, in consultation with the client, will establish a specific strategy to achieve the client’s needs in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible. Our lawyers are constantly aware of the need to explore alternatives to litigation, including mediation, arbitration, and negotiated settlements, but we’re also committed to litigating a case through trial when necessary to achieve the client’s goals.
